I received this item today and immediately installed it into my 91 Firebird. I have owned several 80's and 90's GM products and very familiar with how slow the windows can be. This particular firebird is the absolute worst in my ownership history. After the 30 min install ( I had to lengthen the ground wire for my application) I was shocked to see my windows go up and down with the speed of my wife's 2005 Toyota 4runner! I will also say that all I did was install the window racer. I did not clean or lube the tracks and it made that much of a difference. Once it stops raining here I will try to get a before and after video, which will be easy as the install is stupid easy. I do wish the price point was lower, however to quote my wife once she saw the difference.... 'Totally worth it'. Wish I could get that response for all the parts I buy!

Window Racer worked so well when I tried it in my 1989 Trans Am that I bought two more for my 1986 Trans Am and 1987 Grand National. These just make driving so much better. Remarkable!

First of all, I would like to say that Brian and Sandy are great people to deal with! My order was shipped fast and received in a very timely fashion. I have installed the window racers in my 86 T type which made the windows super fast. Installation took 5 minutes...quick, easy and simple! My windows were flying up and down. Since owning this car since 2007 I have changed the window motors numerous times because there are no motors out there that can make the windows fly up and down like the Window Racer!!!!! I have used AC Delco Motors and Dorman motors and they do not make the windows move any faster. The only thing that makes the windows work fast is the "Window Racer". I highly recommend it! :)

Great product! Super easy install. Only a minor operator error that Brian helped troubleshoot. Now my windows work better than new.

Amazing how something so simple can make a more enjoyable experience. This was a great purchase and took 10 minutes to install. The whole family is happy now not having to wait for the windows to roll up... Went from 5 seconds up and 7 seconds down, to 3 seconds up and 3 seconds down. Awesome purchase.

Purchased the window racer for my 83 Regal. I have upgraded regulators and motors that are faster than the originals. Heard how well the racer works and decided to give it a try. My car has a "Painless" wiring harness/fuse block, when I wired this I left the windows "hot" all the time, it's handy to be able to run a window down without turning the key on. Brian assured me this wouldn't be an issue with the racer. He was correct. It's amazing how fast my windows are now (on par, if not faster than most new vehicles) The best thing is my windows are now able to be fully raised with the door shut, before I would have to open the door to get full up (my windows are adjusted pretty snug with NOS GM weatherstrips I also got from gbody parts) Every G Body should have the window racer, well worth every penny!
