This is an inexpensive replacement cap. These caps are designed to replace your factory units if they have faded or cracked over the years. There are no metal inserts. We suggest that you use your old steel inserts & install into the new caps. This gives a lower likely hood of flying off on hard acceleration & tight cornering.
