We designed this sleek one piece intake pipe for the Buick cars. You could even go maf-less or place your MAF in a desired location if you want a Mass air flow sensor. Each pipe is carefully jigged and built 10 at a time to ensure accuracy.
This pipe allows you to run one clean straight shot to your air cleaner, out side below the air dam with true flowing 3". It has Less couplings then other kits. It is essentially a 1 piece 3" aluminum pipe. The kit comes with a 3" coupling from the TURBO to the pipe. It then evenly follows the radiator support. The bends are there for where your mass air is set up for you to be able to splice in your mass air flow where ever you would like to. Simply decide where you want it. Remove the section of pipe to fit the 3" mass air in place.
The pipe is stubbed through the radiator support opening where your head light wiring is. There is a 90 that I would suggest attaching first. We put this through the radiator support opening first and then to the turbo. We also supply another 3" stub to go to the supplied air filter.
Notice with a 70 Turbo you do not need an IAC relocation kit. This will save you almost $100!
So here is what you get:
1 - aluminum mandrel bent 1 piece pipe
1 - straight coupling and clamps
1 - 90 and clamps
1 - Air filter extension
1 - 10.25" long Cotton gauze re-usable filter that adapts from 3"-3.5"-4"
If you want to add your MAF sensor in a custom location, you will need to place the pipe, mark your desired location on the pipe, cut enought pipe out, add a silicone connector FOUND HERE and 2 Clamps FOUND HERE.
We used a car with removed front bumper for this picture to show installation. Send us yours so we can put them on our site.
