Replace your worn external dew sweeps, the rubber weatherstripping that is prone to cracking. The sweeps are located on the outside of the side windows on top of your door. Usually they are chrome. Some instances they will be black like on an 1984 Grand National. This will be the same seal for the Black T-type or 84 GN. This is your first line of defense against the elements. They prevent moisture from getting inside your door shell & causing rust. Note that this does not replace the wide chrome & is only the rubber. The old rubber will have to but removed & the new installed to the wide chrome molding.
