We have a new replacement trunk mount that is designed specificly for the 81-88 Monte Carlo. We looked at this and noticed that it will also work with minimum modifications on any 78-88 Gbody. You may think well this part is sort of a non wear item. When we looked at R & Ring the quarter panel and wheel houses, we noticed a lot of Jacks have been beat up against this part causing elongated holes etc.
