New reproduction 81-87 Buick Grand National Turbo T, T-type, Regal reproduction Steering column Tilt Lever.
Produced off a NOS unit but improved. Replaces GM part number #1254891
This is one of those items you really do not notice until you go to use it. The black plastic knob spins when you go to unscrew it. The neck is generally rusted. We noticed this issue when we were restoring steering columns. The nice little flat spot to put a wrench on is great until you use it. Then your wrench spins.
The splines on the plastic have been corrected to prevent the black know from spinning. The steel is an up grade over the factory so if you do choose to use the flat spot it will not just round off. A prefect restoration piece.
