1986-87 Turbo Buick and 89 TTA Engine Oil Cooler Lines.
Includes both feed and return lines. It also has 2 plastic support brackets.
Most 1986 lines had a cloth outer jacket covering. We have those in a separate listing.
These are rubber jacket like the factory. In this kit you get:
The top upper low pressure return hose. GM part number #2553019. 1 end is a straight fitting to the radiator the other is a 90* bend to the oil filter housing
The lower Hi pressure feed line. GM part number # 2553019. Both ends have 30-45* bends
Both hoses come with new O rings.
Now the fun part. As you can see in the GM manual, the upper low pressure return line was supported to the automatic transmission line. There is no GM part number. The second issue is there is no picture of the oil cooler line support brackets. This is the one that clipped to both oil cooler lines. If any one can find a GM part number we would appreciate it. Now you have a complete replacement if you need it. We know the clips were tossed and thrown away frequently. So if you are trying to restore your car back to how it was when it left the factory we hope the lines and clips will assist you in doing so.
We also realize some may be missing one or both clips. One line may have wear and the other is fine. We will be offering these separately and in individual pieces.
Please note if you have a failed engine you never want to try and clean the old lines and re use. The hot material becomes imbedded into the lines and could release back into your new rebuilt engine. We will assume you are not using the same radiator as debris can be trapped into the oil cooler.
