With all the power window motors on the market, you are probably thinking "like great another aftermarket unit". I come to GBP for GM & AC Delco not aftermarket.
Well, since we only offer what we use that is why you will not see the $9.00 power window motors on our site. Why would you do all this installation work for some thing that only lasts 6 months tops
As these cars continue to age, the factory power window motors are subject to failure. They slow down, gum up & then just completely die at the most inopportune times like during a heat wave. We now carry an exact replacement.
The window motor assembly is the same for either door. If you need to replace the motor in both windows, you will need to purchase two motors. We suggest that you replace both motors at the same time. Your motors are 25 plus years old now, a frest set of motors will ensure that your motors will work when needed.
This power window motors have a manufacturer’s 90-day warranty. Hardware and instructions are included with the power window motor kit.
The original motor is held in place by rivets. If your car’s window motors have never been replaced, you will have to drill out the rivets. We highly recommend this installation be done by a qualified mechanic or a body shop.
These window motors will be slightly faster than the original window motor. This is why we are offering them.
