Billet aluminum shifter handles are designed to replaced the factory T-shifter handle in your Buick They fit from 78-87, 3 and 4 speed shifters. They are very easy to install. No special talents to set up correctly, and it retains all stock shifter functions. Just push down on the knob to get out of Park. They are easier to install then the stock shifter. To install remove your stock shifter handle. The shifter handle removes by pulling out a horse shoe clip at the base of the passenger side of the handle. You will notice a white plastic adjuster sticking out of the chrome shifter stalk. There are two slots in the chrome stalk. This is where the two allen screws are tightened locking the adapter to the white plastic adjuster. No need to tighten the allen screws, just snug them up on the stem and you are done.
