After years of promoting only GM seals we have found a few manufacturers who were able to get the closest possible quality of original GM seals. While not 100% dead on there are some items that we have taken to shows & watch the customer pick an aftermarket seal over the GM. I have had a few experts in our fields say that is about as close as your going to get with out being GM.
We believe GM is GM and has made these seals for 25+ years. What we are doing is giving you, the customer, options. While we do not guarantee these seals, we thought enough of them to carry them. We have installed & tested them and we feel for the money the seals are tough to beat.
What we have here is a picture of the GM original Outer belt molding or dew sweep. Pictured below the after market. The GM seal is 1.5 times the price of the aftermarket seal. The aftermarket is above pictured. You can see by the thickness & shape it is extremely close. The price is for the set. This seal goes on the top of your out side door of your vehicle. It secures your out side glass to the door. It is held in with 5 Phillip head screws.this is the correct Black molding for a GRAND NATIONAL OR T-TYPE with W-O2. We have Chrome as well. Honestly except for the after market having the Brass rivets & not the stainless ones I can not see a difference. This has to be about as close as you can get. I would have no problem installing these on a show car. That is saying a lot from me.
