Window Regulator Roller Replacement Kit, Each: Includes 2 Large & 1 Small Rollers
1 kit required per door, sold as each
When installing the window anti rattle kits it does a great job bringing your car back to like new. If you had one of these cars new you know there is just a little something off.
So you install new power window motors if applicable. Ok got the speed back. Still have some play. It must be the outer belt moldings & maybe the inners Hmm new seals for Both doors. Wow the car windows are ALMOST like new. Once in a while it grabs for a split second. Once in a while it doesn't roll up even all the way.
So we are in there again. Maybe greasing the tracks will help. It usually does but doesn't last for ever. We have been there & done this. We never realized that the rollers get flat spots. They start to wear funny from the previous problems we had just fixed.
With doing all this & adding the new rollers your GBody door is back again. think about it for a second If you have done all the above what else is left. The last week we had installed 2 sets of doors on an 86 Regal, 87 Grand National, & an 87 Monte Carlo SS. Everything was going good but there was that little something missing. The rollers were the only thing we had not changed. When going thru all this work this is the final thing not really on the market.
This is the last 5% to get you back correct. We generally pull the old ones of with our teeth Just Kidding. A pair of pliers does well. When re-installing we used the palm of our hand to push back on.
The regulators (not currently available) in the pictures were rebuilt. Blasted and powder coated. The new rollers are an in expensive way to complete your project & make it 100%. This may not be for every GBody. If you have 100,000 mile car or bought a window anti rattle kit you pretty much know it is for you.
