If the intercooler shroud that attaches to the scoop has not been damaged. You can purchase just the reproduction intercooler scoop section. It can then be reattached to the factory upper shroud. We also carry the reproduction complete Intercooler shroud and scoop part # GB0-AIN-F09-SBH10
This reproduction fiberglass lower scoop portion is an exact replacement for the factory rubber scoop that can becomes damaged over a period of time. It is made using a mint original for the mold. The scoop comes ready to attach to the factory intercooler. where the rivots were.
GM never offered this lower scoop portion by itself. Because the reproduction shroud and scoop have been made in two pieces we can offer just the lower scoop portion as a replacement. The original GM scoop portion was riveted to the shroud.
Once installed in a 1986 or 1987 Turbo Regal it will look like the original.
Minor drilling to the intercooler scoop is required so it can be attached. By lining it up to the factory holes on the intercooler then screwed in. You will need to re-use the original sheet metal screws.
