The T-top parts are the Stainless steel replacements for GM part # 20084307 (RH) & GM part # 20084308 (LH) . The restoration part for our customers that will NEVER rust and can still be ordered without worry of being discontinued...as GM has done. The GM pieces were stamped steel and were prone to rust as water and moisture tended to "sit" in the corners. Your top plates in turn rub against these retainers. If you see rust on your T-top plates I can guarantee this is rusted as well. Easy removal by grinding the welds that are done every 3"s. Then installation of our part can glued in with 3M body panel adhesive,welding, or flat top screws.
