Brackets are original reproduction Hard Top, Moon Roof, and Astro Roof Sun Visor swivels. The hard top swivel is for a DRIVER SIDE NON ILLUMINATED VISORS. The PASSENGER SIDE is for an ILLUMINATED Visor. The Hard top swivels will fit your 78-88 Regal, Cutlass, Grand Prix, El Camino or Monte Carlo. If your visor keeps swinging back or dropping down this is most likely the problem.
An easy test to see if your swivel or your visor screw is bad. Here is the test. Remove the sun visor by loosening the philips set screw. Once removed grab the pin that the screw sets to. If it moves theswivel is bad. Simply replace with our new unit & the dropping visor problem is solved.
If your visor swings towards you on acceleration it is definitely the swivel that is bad. When installing make sure the longest part of the triangle point towards the A-pillar.
