Your 1981-87 Regal Impact strips mount to the Black or Chrome steel bumper with speed nuts. The front uses 9 speed nuts and 4 retainer clips. The rear uses 11 speed nuts.
*The front has 4 additional guide pins that do not require speed nuts. There are metal tabs in the face bar for this. This is really nice when installing our new impact strips. Usually the 30+ year old units are rusty. Backing them off, they have lost some of their cutting ability. No one wants to mess up a new impact strip over used hardware.
