1983-86 Cutlass 442 Calais models equipped with center console. The shifter top plates are manufactured to factory specifications. Shifter top plates feature the correct burlwood grain with chrome accents. They fit like original. This is the Burlwood grain plate for four speed shifters. The Shifter indicator is set up for 1983-88 4 speed over drive with the clear plastic and indicators. The Shifter plate CAN be used for 3 speed. You can use the proper replacement of the shifter plate indictor plastic piece and the correct clear plastic can be swapped. This may be done by removing the plate from your current three speed indicator and gluing the 3 speed in place of the 4 speed indicator on the new burlwood grain 4 speed indicator.
