This GNX exhaust system will ONLY fit authentic GNXs and any 1986-1987 Turbo Regals that have been fitted with the reproduction GNX rear suspension systems. This system will not fit regular Turbo Regals, however, a GNX stainless exhaust system for the stock 1986-1987 Grand National is in development and will soon be available.
This exhaust system is made from 304 stainless and uses a highly polished center-to-center muffler.
The first photo shows a set of the actual GNX tailpipes in one jig, and the front Y-pipe in the other jig. These jigs are set to assure proper fit for each exhaust system.
This system is a true 2-1/2″ diameter system throughout, unlike the factory which has bottlenecks in several places to 2-1/4″. Each pipe is mandrel bent and tailpipes are angled cut and exit exactly in the same area as the originals. All new stainless guillotine clamps are included.
Each exhaust system is shipped in a single box weighing approximately 50-55 lbs.
