Gbody Driver Side Manual Seat Track Repair Leg
This is a common problem in every G-Body. You get some power, you launch and what the heck happened The seat track broke. I have watched seat track sets sell on ebay for $250 a set. This is the only way to get it fixed within reason. Looks like a tough job Welding involved Actually, no it is pretty easy. The old unit is riveted in. Simply drill out the 2 rivets and remove. You say that you don't have a rivet gun and the right size rivets readily available No problem. Simply bolt back together. This part is the exact dimensions. Constructed from quality steel to give more strength, & thickness of the original unit.
Our unit is .135" steel as compared to the factory .100 Thickness.
