78-88 Cutlass/442/Calais/GT350 Shifter top plate black with chrome accents models equipped with center console. They are manufactured to factory specifications for a perfect fit! Chrome accents and trim just like the originals, but feature an all black design which was unavailable from the factory. This is the solid black plate for four speed shifters. Shifter plate CAN be used for 3 speed with proper replacement of the shifter plate indicator plastic piece on the reverse side. This may be done by removing the plate from your current three speed indicator and gluing the 3 speed in place of the 4 speed indicator on the new black 4 speed indicator.
