This unit is for the heater control on the all Gbody cars.
They commonly go bad. If you are flushing your system this is a good time to replace it. Please note that there are several designs and for that reason, your replacement part may not look exactly like the valve being replaced. In this instance, the valve will fit and function to OE specifications.
