These were discontinued back in 2010. They are now reamanufactured cable replacements. It replaces the AC delco GM part # number: 19151297.
There are replacement steel cable with rubber on the outside. What we have found in hotter climates the rubber outside cable will actually melt the outer jacket together . Our new ones are just like original plastic nylon with a lot newer technology in the plastic. It will not melt.
How do I know if I need this cable?
This part is just the internal plastic cable. It will only work if the metal antenna mast is not damaged and the motor wants to keep running. If the motor works, and the mast is not bent in any way then the internal plastic cable is broken or damaged due to age. I have seen brane new NOS units go bad in 3 months. It is just a glorified weed eater string to be honest. Anything that works and is plastic nylon will have an age limit. This a new 2025 built with updated technology.
If your motor is not working you are better off getting one of our Complete built power antennas.
