DAMAGE CLAIMS

100% Customer Satisfaction is our goal! However, from time to time, a return may be required, or our shipping carriers will inadvertently incur damages. In this event, please use the following procedures for the most expedited response:

SMALL PACKAGE USPS or FedEx ground and express Damages (THIS POLICY DOES NOT APPLY TO DAMAGED FREIGHT)

If your small package, ground or express shipment arrives obviously damaged, please refuse the shipment due to damage and notify us WITHIN 3 DAYS by logging in to your GBP account online and initiating a Damage Claim in the order details of your purchase history. The damaged package(s) will be returned to us or the carrier for inspection and a replacement will be sent out within 1-3 business days. Please note: Damages must be reported within 3 business days of delivery. No exceptions.

If the damage is unseen at the time of delivery and you accept the shipment, please take photos of the packaging and notify us via the contact page within 3 business days. Select DAMAGE as the subject and attach the photos with a brief explanation of the damage. We will file a damage claim and get a replacement out to you. Please note we do not refund damaged shipments—we replace them. It is GBP policy to file a claim and send a replacement concurrently. No exceptions.

DAMAGED FREIGHT SHIPMENTS - DO NOT SIGN FOR DAMAGED FREIGHT! OPEN YOUR SHIPMENT AND INSPECT FOR DAMAGE PRIOR TO SIGNING! IF THERE ARE DAMAGES, TAKE PHOTOS AND REFUSE THE SHIPMENT. Sheet metal goods are held to a different standard than other shipment types. We have very little recourse with the carrier for damages of sheet metal that is signed for. WE MUST INSIST THAT YOU INSPECT THE CONTENTS PRIOR TO SIGNING. If there is damage, refuse the shipment, initiate a damage claim in your online order and we will get a replacement out right away. Once you (or your body shop) sign for the shipment, you are committing to receive the merchandise in its shipped condition; therefore you own it at that point. While there may be some minor unseen scuffs in the EDP or insignificant damage due to freight shipping as this can happen; no sheet metal goods will be returned for minor unseen shipping damages that will be remedied by the sand/paint process prior to installation. Truck freight shipments are packaged extremely well but due to the nature of freight shipments things do happen. Please note that our hoods are EDP (Electrophoretic deposition)coated. This is not a paint finish. It is a protectant which inhibits rust prior to installation. This coating must be sanded off prior to prime and paint. So a few scuffs on the EDP coating does not constitute a damaged item.
