1986-1987 Turbo Regal - Reproduction Intercooler Shroud and Scoop.
This complete black intercooler shroud and scoop is made in fiberglass using a mint, original for the mold. The piece does need to be prepped and fitted prior to installing.
The quality is excellent. It’s designed just like the factory unit. The lower scoop portion is riveted to the shroud and can be replaced if it becomes damaged with the lower intercooler shroud we sell.
This unit is made in hand-laid fiberglass. The unit holds its shape better than the original GM shroud so warping from heat does not occur.
The shroud uses black gelcoat to match the color of the original shroud. The texture on the outside is smooth like the original shroud.
The original intercooler scoop has been discontinued from GM and originals are difficult to find today.
Once installed in a 1986 or 1987 Turbo Regal, it will look like the original. Minor drilling to the intercooler scoop is required. It can be attached lining it up to the factory holes on the intercooler. You may also choose to sand and paint the piece if so desired.
You will need to re-use the original sheet metal screws or we carry them new.
